Ethan Morton is a 6’7″, 215-pound guard currently playing for the Colorado State Rams men’s basketball team. Born in Butler, Pennsylvania, Morton transferred to Colorado State from Purdue University in April 2024.

During his time at Purdue, Morton appeared in 132 games over four seasons, contributing to the team’s success, including a national title game appearance in the 2023-24 season. He graduated in 3.5 years with a degree in finance.

In his first and only season with the Rams, Morton averaged 3.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, shooting 51.1% from the field. He played a pivotal role in Colorado State’s Mountain West Conference championship, notably scoring a career-high 11 points in the championship game against Boise State. ​

The Rams secured an NCAA Tournament berth, where they narrowly lost to Maryland 72-71 in the second round, with Maryland’s Derik Queen hitting a buzzer-beater. Reflecting on the season, Morton praised his teammates, stating it would be one of his best basketball memories.
