florida panthers

The Florida Panthers are a professional ice hockey team based in Sunrise, Florida. They’re part of the NHL’s Atlantic Division and have had an interesting, sometimes up-and-down history. They were founded in 1993 and have yet to win a Stanley Cup, though they’ve had a few standout seasons, including a trip to the Cup Final in 1996 (which they lost to the Colorado Avalanche).

In recent years, the Panthers have seen a resurgence, especially with players like Aleksander Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau (who was traded to Calgary in 2022), and goalie Sergei Bobrovsky leading the way. Their offense is usually pretty dynamic, and they’ve been a strong contender in the Eastern Conference in the past few seasons.
