flory bidunga

Flory Bidunga is a 6-foot-9-inch, 220-pound forward who played his freshman season with the Kansas Jayhawks during the 2024–2025 college basketball season. Born on May 20, 2005, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, he moved to the United States to attend Kokomo High School in Indiana. There, he averaged 19.0 points, 12.9 rebounds, 4.4 blocks, and 3.2 assists per game during his senior year, earning honors such as Indiana Mr. Basketball and a spot in the McDonald’s All-American Boys Game. ​

In his freshman year at Kansas, Bidunga played in all 34 games, starting six. He averaged 16.3 minutes per game, contributing 5.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game, with a field goal percentage of 69.8% and a free throw percentage of 53.3%. ​

As of March 29, 2025, Bidunga entered the NCAA transfer portal, though he has not ruled out returning to Kansas. This move has garnered attention, as he was a highly regarded recruit in the 2024 class. ​
