“Freakier Friday” is an upcoming sequel to Disney’s 2003 film “Freaky Friday.” The movie stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, who reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman, respectively. The plot follows Anna, now a mother with a daughter and a soon-to-be stepdaughter, as she and her mother Tess experience a body-swapping adventure that involves multiple generations of their family.
Directed by Nisha Ganatra, “Freakier Friday” also features returning cast members such as Mark Harmon and Chad Michael Murray, along with new additions like Julia Butters and Manny Jacinto.
The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 8, 2025.
