Gabriel Macht is an American actor, director, and producer, best known for his role as Harvey Specter in the legal drama series “Suits.” Born on January 22, 1972, in The Bronx, New York City, he is the son of actor Stephen Macht and museum curator Suzanne Victoria Pulier. Macht graduated from Beverly Hills High School and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University in 1994.

Macht’s acting career began at a young age; he was nominated for the Best Young Motion Picture Actor Award for his role in “Why Would I Lie?” at age 8. He has since appeared in various films, including “The Recruit,” “The Good Shepherd,” and “The Spirit.”

However, it was his portrayal of Harvey Specter in “Suits” (2011–2019) that brought him widespread recognition. In 2025, he reprised this role in the “Suits” spin-off series, “Suits LA,” which premiered on NBC on February 23, 2025. ​
