Severe weather, including high winds and heavy rain, recently impacted Georgia, leading to widespread power outages across the state. As of March 16, 2025, thousands of residents in metro Atlanta and north Georgia were without power. In Fulton County, approximately 601 customers experienced outages, while DeKalb County had 225, Paulding County 497, and Coweta County 1,005.
