The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team, representing the Georgia Institute of Technology, has recently concluded their 2024–2025 season. Under the leadership of second-year head coach Damon Stoudamire, the team finished with an overall record of 17–17 and a conference record of 10–10 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
In the ACC Tournament, Georgia Tech faced top-seeded Duke in the quarterfinals. Despite a valiant effort, they fell 78–70, with standout performances from Duncan Powell, who scored 24 points, and a career-high 28 points from Duke’s freshman, Kon Knueppel.
Following the ACC Tournament, Georgia Tech earned a No. 4 seed in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and hosted Jacksonville State in the opening round on March 18 at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. This appearance marked their return to postseason play for the first time in four years.
