Greg Gutfeld is an American television host, political commentator, comedian, and author, best known for hosting the late-night talk show Gutfeld! on Fox News. Born on September 12, 1964, in San Mateo, California, he graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in English. Gutfeld began his career in publishing, serving as editor-in-chief of Men’s Health and later Stuff magazine. He transitioned to television in 2007 with the launch of Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld, a late-night talk show on Fox News. In 2015, he began hosting The Greg Gutfeld Show, which evolved into Gutfeld! in 2021, airing weeknights at 11:00 PM ET. By August 2021, Gutfeld! surpassed The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in ratings, becoming the highest-rated late-night talk show in the U.S.
Gutfeld is married to Elena Moussa, a Russian-born fashion stylist and former photo editor for Maxim Russia. The couple met during a work trip to Portugal and relocated to New York City, where they welcomed their daughter, Mira, in December 2024.
In September 2024, former President Donald Trump appeared on Gutfeld!, discussing topics ranging from assassination attempts to his political career, highlighting the show’s influence in late-night television.
