Hilaria Baldwin (born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas on January 6, 1984, in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American yoga instructor, entrepreneur, podcaster, and author. She co-founded the Yoga Vida studio in New York City and has released an exercise DVD and a wellness book.

In 2012, she married actor Alec Baldwin, with whom she has seven children: Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, María, and Ilaria. The family is featured in the TLC reality series “The Baldwins,” which premiered on February 23, 2025.

The series documents their lives following the tragic “Rust” shooting incident in October 2021, where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was accidentally killed. Alec Baldwin faced involuntary manslaughter charges, which were dismissed in 2024. The show explores the family’s challenges during this period, including Alec’s struggles with PTSD and the couple’s efforts to support their children.

Despite its candid portrayal of their lives, “The Baldwins” has received negative reviews, with critics labeling it as “strange” and “in extremely poor taste.” Viewer ratings have also declined, dropping from 682,000 at its premiere to 423,000 by the second episode.

In recent episodes, Hilaria revealed that she and Alec wrote letters to their children before attending the “Rust” trial, fearing potential outcomes. She emphasized the importance of unity during challenging times and acknowledged the emotional impact on their family.

Hilaria has also faced controversies regarding her heritage. In 2020, discussions arose about her fluctuating Spanish accent and claims of being from Spain, leading to debates on cultural appropriation. She later clarified that she was born in Boston and spent time in Spain during her childhood.

Throughout these challenges, Hilaria continues to focus on her family and career, navigating public scrutiny while maintaining a presence in the wellness industry.
