Homestead-Miami Speedway is a 1.5-mile oval track located in Homestead, Florida, approximately 35 miles southwest of Miami. Since its opening in 1995, it has hosted major racing events, including the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series.
The track has undergone several modifications to enhance racing quality. In 1996, the original layout was altered to improve overtaking opportunities. Further significant changes occurred in 2003, transforming the flatter corners into progressively banked ones with variable banking, which improved the racing experience.
In recent events, Kyle Larson demonstrated exceptional skill by winning two of the three national series races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, including the Straight Talk Wireless 400, marking his 30th Cup Series victory.
The speedway offers various premium experiences for fans, such as the ForeverLawn Speedway Terrace, providing unparalleled views of the start/finish line, and the Ally Champions Club, offering exclusive amenities.
