  • Expanded Language Support for Apple Intelligence: Apple Intelligence is now available in French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, with localized English support for Singapore and India. ​
  • Robot Vacuum Integration via Matter: iOS 18.4 introduces support for controlling robot vacuums through the Apple Home app using the Matter protocol, allowing management and automation across Apple devices. Compatible models from manufacturers like Roborock, iRobot, and Ecovacs are supported. ​
  • Apple Music Enhancements: The update expands Apple Music’s reach beyond the app, integrating more deeply with Control Center and other system features for a more seamless music experience. ​
  • CarPlay Improvements: For vehicles with larger screens, CarPlay now displays three rows of app icons on the Home Screen instead of two, enhancing accessibility and navigation.
