isis leader killed

Abdallah Maki Mosleh al-Rifai, known as “Abu Khadija,” a senior leader of the Islamic State (ISIS), was killed in an airstrike in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. The operation was a coordinated effort between Iraqi national intelligence and U.S.-led coalition forces. Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani described al-Rifai as “one of the most dangerous terrorists in Iraq and the world.”

U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the operation, stating that al-Rifai’s “miserable life was terminated.”

Both leaders emphasized that al-Rifai was actively plotting attacks, including suicide missions, and his death represents a significant blow to ISIS operations.
