Jalen Rose, born on January 30, 1973, in Detroit, Michigan, is a former professional basketball player and current sports analyst. He gained prominence as a member of the University of Michigan’s “Fab Five” during the early 1990s, alongside Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson.
The Fab Five reached the NCAA championship game in 1992 and 1993, significantly impacting college basketball culture.
In the 1994 NBA Draft, Rose was selected 13th overall by the Denver Nuggets. Throughout his 13-year NBA career, he played for several teams, including the Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, and Phoenix Suns.
Rose’s most notable tenure was with the Indiana Pacers, where he earned the NBA Most Improved Player award in 2000 and helped lead the team to the NBA Finals that year.
