Jaycee Horn is an American professional football cornerback who plays for the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League (NFL). Born on November 26, 1999, in Alpharetta, Georgia, he is the son of former NFL wide receiver Joe Horn. Jaycee Horn attended Alpharetta High School, where he recorded 44 tackles and five interceptions as a senior and participated in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

He began his college football career at the University of South Carolina, playing for the Gamecocks from 2018 to 2020. During his sophomore year, he started all 12 games, recording 40 tackles and one sack. In his junior year, he played in seven games, accumulating 16 tackles and two interceptions before declaring for the NFL Draft.

In the 2021 NFL Draft, Horn was selected eighth overall by the Carolina Panthers. He signed a four-year rookie contract with the team. In March 2025, Horn signed a four-year, $100 million contract extension with the Panthers, making him the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history.

Throughout his career, Horn has been recognized for his versatility and defensive skills. In the 2024 season, he earned his first Pro Bowl selection. However, injuries have impacted his availability, as he played in only 22 of a possible 51 games in his first three seasons.

Notably, in October 2024, Horn confronted Broncos head coach Sean Payton after a game, accusing him of attempting to run up the score with late-game trick plays. Payton, who had coached Horn’s father, acknowledged his respect for the player but criticized the Panthers’ overall performance.
