Joc Pederson, born on April 21, 1992, in Palo Alto, California, is an American professional baseball outfielder currently playing for the Texas Rangers. He is the son of former MLB player Stu Pederson.
Pederson began his MLB career with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2014. Over the years, he has played for several teams, including the Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants, and Arizona Diamondbacks. Throughout his career, he has achieved notable accolades, such as being a two-time World Series champion and a two-time All-Star.
In December 2024, Pederson signed a two-year, $37 million contract with the Texas Rangers, with a player opt-out after the first year. He made a strong impression during Spring Training, notably hitting a three-run home run in a game against the Boston Red Sox.
