Joe Jonas, born Joseph Adam Jonas on August 15, 1989, in Casa Grande, Arizona, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He gained prominence as a member of the Jonas Brothers, a pop-rock band formed with his brothers Kevin and Nick. The group achieved significant success with albums like Jonas Brothers (2007) and A Little Bit Longer (2008), and starred in Disney Channel projects such as Camp Rock (2008) and the series Jonas (2009–2010).
After the Jonas Brothers’ initial hiatus, Joe Jonas embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album Fastlife in 2011. He later formed the funk-pop band DNCE, known for hits like “Cake by the Ocean.” In 2019, the Jonas Brothers reunited, releasing albums like Happiness Begins (2019) and The Album (2023).
In 2025, Joe Jonas announced his second solo album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, scheduled for release on May 23, 2025. The lead single, “Work It Out,” was released on July 19, 2024. He described the album as reflecting his personal and artistic evolution, touching on themes like gratitude, hope, love, and friendship.
The Jonas Brothers also announced their “Living The Dream Tour” to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The tour begins on August 10, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and concludes on November 9, 2025, in Buffalo, NY. Special guests include Marshmello, All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, DNCE, and solo performances by Nick and Joe Jonas.
On the personal front, Joe Jonas married actress Sophie Turner in 2019. The couple has two daughters. In September 2023, Jonas filed for divorce, leading to a highly publicized custody battle. As of March 2025, reports indicate that Turner is set to return to the UK with their children.
