JoJo Siwa, born on May 19, 2003, in Omaha, Nebraska, is an American singer, dancer, actress, and media personality. She gained prominence in 2015 as a dancer on “Dance Moms” alongside her mother, Jessalynn Siwa. In 2017, JoJo signed with Nickelodeon, leading to various shows and films, including her own feature film, “The J Team,” in 2021. Her music video for “Boomerang” has amassed over 1 billion views.

In April 2024, JoJo released her debut single as an adult artist, “Karma,” followed by her fourth EP, “Guilty Pleasure,” in July 2024. She has described her music as “gay pop,” aiming to create a new genre.

On March 27, 2025, at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles, JoJo unveiled a new rainbow mohawk hairstyle with shaved sides, expressing her support for LGBTQ+ rights.
