Randle attended Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas, where he emerged as one of the top high school basketball prospects in the nation. Recognized as a five-star recruit, he committed to the University of Kentucky in March 2013. During his freshman year, Randle averaged 15.0 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, earning third-team All-American honors and helping Kentucky reach the national championship game.
Professional Career
In the 2014 NBA Draft, Randle was selected seventh overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. His rookie season was cut short due to a broken leg, but he returned the following year, gradually establishing himself as a key player. After four seasons with the Lakers, he signed with the New Orleans Pelicans for the 2018-2019 season, averaging 21.4 points per game. The next year, he joined the New York Knicks, earning three All-Star selections and two All-NBA honors during his tenure.
