Justin Eichorn is a Republican politician who has served as a member of the Minnesota Senate since 2017, representing District 6, which includes areas such as Grand Rapids, Brainerd, and surrounding regions. Prior to redistricting, he represented District 5. Eichorn is married to Brittany, and they have four children.
On March 17, 2025, Eichorn was arrested in Bloomington, Minnesota, on suspicion of attempting to solicit a 16-year-old girl for prostitution. Unbeknownst to Eichorn, he had been communicating with an undercover police detective posing as the teenager. He was taken into custody without incident when he arrived at the arranged meeting location.
In response to the arrest, Minnesota Senate Republican leaders have called for Eichorn’s immediate resignation, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations. As of now, felony charges are pending, and the case has not yet been transferred to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for formal prosecution.
