The Kent State Golden Flashes men’s basketball team concluded their 2024–2025 season with a 72-64 loss to the Miami (OH) RedHawks in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament semifinals on March 14, 2025, at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Peter Suder led Miami with 23 points.
Earlier in the tournament, Kent State secured a 73-66 victory over Western Michigan in the quarterfinals, with Jalen Sullinger contributing 31 points. However, their tournament run ended in the semifinals against Miami.
In the championship game, Miami (OH) will face Akron, the defending MAC champions.
