Kevin Kisner, born on February 15, 1984, in Aiken, South Carolina, is an American professional golfer known for his competitive spirit and engaging personality. He played college golf at the University of Georgia, contributing to their 2005 NCAA Division I Championship victory.
Turning professional in 2006, Kisner has secured four PGA Tour victories, including the 2015 RSM Classic and the 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. His consistent performances have earned him multiple top-10 finishes in major championships, with notable ties for second place at The Open Championship in 2018 and the PGA Championship in 2017.
In December 2024, NBC appointed Kisner as the lead analyst for its golf coverage, replacing Paul Azinger. He will work alongside lead announcer Dan Hicks, covering major events such as the U.S. Open and Ryder Cup. Despite this new role, Kisner plans to continue competing on the PGA Tour, believing his active participation will enrich his broadcasting insights.
In January 2025, Kisner was named as one of the vice captains for the U.S. Ryder Cup team, joining Webb Simpson and Brandt Snedeker under captain Keegan Bradley. His experience and strong match-play record are valuable assets to the team as they aim to reclaim the Ryder Cup.
Beyond the course, Kisner co-founded the Kisner Foundation with his wife, Brittany, to support organizations focusing on child health, education, and youth sports in their hometown of Aiken, South Carolina.
