Korn is an American nu metal band formed in 1993 in Bakersfield, California. The current lineup includes Jonathan Davis (vocals), James “Munky” Shaffer (guitar), Brian “Head” Welch (guitar), Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu (bass), and Ray Luzier (drums). They are widely credited with pioneering the nu metal genre, blending heavy guitar riffs with elements of hip-hop and alternative rock.

Recent Activities:

  • New Music: In February 2022, Korn released their fourteenth studio album, Requiem, featuring singles like “Start the Healing” and “Forgotten.”
  • Live Performances: Korn has been actively touring. In 2025, they are set to headline the Download Festival alongside Green Day and Sleep Token. They will also join System of a Down for a concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 28, 2025.
  • Upcoming Shows: Korn announced a special concert in Spain for 2025, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Resurrection Fest. This performance will be their first in Spain in eight years.
