Kyle Busch, born on May 2, 1985, in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a prominent American stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing, and part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Spire Motorsports.
Over his career, Busch has amassed numerous accolades, including two NASCAR Cup Series championships in 2015 and 2019, and the 2009 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship. He holds the record for the most wins across NASCAR’s top three series, with 231 victories as of April 2024.
In February 2025, Busch expanded his brand by promoting his Kyle Busch 108-Proof Single Barrel Bourbon. He appeared at Spec’s in Austin, Texas, signing limited-edition bottles ahead of the NASCAR EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas.
However, Busch has faced challenges in recent seasons. In March 2025, during the race at the Circuit of the Americas, he led for 42 laps but finished fifth, overtaken by younger driver Christopher Bell. This near miss has sparked discussions about Busch’s performance as younger talents rise in the sport.
