kyle tucker

Kyle Tucker, born on January 17, 1997, in Tampa, Florida, is a professional baseball right fielder currently playing for the Chicago Cubs. He began his MLB career with the Houston Astros, making his debut in 2018. Over his career, Tucker has achieved multiple accolades, including three All-Star selections (2022–2024), a Gold Glove Award in 2022, and a Silver Slugger Award in 2023.

In December 2024, Tucker was traded to the Cubs in exchange for Isaac Paredes, Hayden Wesneski, and prospect Cam Smith. He made an immediate impact with his new team, going 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in a 4-3 victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 29, 2025.

Looking ahead, recent reports suggest that after a strong season with the Cubs, Tucker could sign a 14-year, $604 million contract with the Philadelphia Phillies.
