Kyshawn George is a Swiss-Canadian professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard for the Washington Wizards in the NBA. Born on December 12, 2003, in Aigle, Switzerland, he moved to France during his youth and played for Élan Chalon, where he earned First Team All-U21 Espoir Pro B honors in the 2022–2023 season. ​

George attended the University of Miami for his freshman year (2023–2024), starting in 16 of 31 games. He averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, shooting 42.6% from the field and 40.8% from three-point range.

In June 2024, George was selected 24th overall by the New York Knicks in the NBA Draft but was immediately traded to the Washington Wizards. He signed a four-year, $14.3 million contract with the Wizards on July 6, 2024. He made his NBA debut on October 24, 2024, against the Boston Celtics.

As of March 24, 2025, George is averaging 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game for the Wizards, with a field goal percentage of 36.8%. In the game against the Toronto Raptors on March 24, 2025, he exited with a left ankle sprain and did not return.

Notably, George set a franchise record by making his 100th three-pointer in just 59 games, surpassing Bradley Beal’s previous record of 60 games. He also holds the record for the most consecutive games with a made three-pointer by a rookie, with 31 games, surpassing Corey Kispert’s previous record of 15.

Internationally, George represented Switzerland at the U16 level, playing six games in the 2019 FIBA U16 European Championship Division B.
