Lauren Graham is an American actress and author, best known for her roles as Lorelai Gilmore in the television series “Gilmore Girls” and Sarah Braverman in “Parenthood.” Born on March 16, 1967, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she grew up in Virginia and pursued acting after earning a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University.

In addition to her acting career, Graham has authored several books, including her debut novel “Someday, Someday, Maybe” (2013), and “Talking as Fast as I Can” (2016), which reflects on her experiences during the making of “Gilmore Girls.”

In late 2024, Graham inadvertently revealed that actress Mae Whitman’s partner, actor Carlos Valdes, is the father of Whitman’s son, Miles, born in August 2024.

In December 2024, Graham reunited with fellow “Gilmore Girls” actor Scott Patterson for a Walmart holiday advertisement, revisiting their beloved characters, Lorelai and Luke, in the nostalgic setting of Stars Hollow.

Looking ahead, Graham is set to star alongside Aisling Franciosi in the upcoming film “Twinless,” which is currently in production.
