Lenawee County is located in southeastern Michigan, USA. Established in 1826 and named after a term believed to mean “male” in the Lenape language, the county encompasses a total area of 761 square miles, with 750 square miles of land and 12 square miles (1.6%) of water.

The county seat and largest city is Adrian. Other cities include Hudson, Morenci, and Tecumseh. Additionally, the county comprises several villages such as Addison, Blissfield, Britton, and Clayton, among others.

As of the 2020 United States census, Lenawee County’s population was 99,423.
