The Loyola Chicago Ramblers men’s basketball team, representing Loyola University Chicago, concluded their 2024–2025 season with a strong performance in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). Competing in the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Ramblers finished the regular season with a 25–11 record. Their postseason run included notable victories over teams like San Jose State and Kent State, propelling them to the NIT semifinals.

In the NIT semifinals held on April 1, 2025, at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Loyola Chicago faced the Chattanooga Mocs. The game was competitive, but the Ramblers fell short, losing 80–73. Chattanooga’s Trey Bonham led all scorers with 23 points, and a pivotal 3-pointer by Honor Huff late in the game secured their victory.

Despite the loss, the Ramblers’ journey to the NIT semifinals highlighted their resilience and competitiveness throughout the season. Looking ahead, the team will aim to build on this momentum in the upcoming season, striving to capture their first NCAA tournament berth since 2022.​
