Markieff Morris is an American professional basketball player who currently plays as a power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. Born on September 2, 1989, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he stands 6 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 245 pounds. Morris played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks before being selected 13th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns.

Throughout his NBA career, Morris has played for several teams, including the Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, Oklahoma City Thunder, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets, and Dallas Mavericks. In 2020, he won an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers.
