The Maryland Terrapins men’s basketball team, currently ranked No. 11, has had a strong performance in the 2024-2025 season. They finished the regular season with a 25-7 record, placing second in the Big Ten Conference with a 14-6 conference record.
In the Big Ten Tournament, the Terrapins secured a decisive 88-65 victory over Illinois in the quarterfinals. Rodney Rice led the team with 26 points, including seven 3-pointers. Derik Queen contributed a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. They will face Michigan in the semifinals.
Looking ahead, the Terrapins are preparing for the NCAA Tournament, aiming to build on their successful season.
