McLaurine Pinover (Klingler) is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in government and media. She currently serves as a Senior Director at The Herald Group, a public affairs and strategic communications firm based in Washington, D.C. In this role, she manages multiple client accounts, leveraging her Capitol Hill and agency communications experience.

Prior to joining The Herald Group, McLaurine held several notable positions in government communications. She served as Communications Director for Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC), where she was responsible for managing media relations and strategic communications. Her career also includes roles as Assistant Press Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, Special Assistant to the Senior Advisor for Policy at the White House, and Press Assistant for former U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions.

In February 2025, McLaurine was appointed as the Acting Director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
