Michael Gallup, born on March 4, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia, is a former professional American football wide receiver. He began his college career at Butler Community College before transferring to Colorado State University, where he earned consensus All-American honors in 2017. The Dallas Cowboys selected Gallup in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

During his tenure with the Cowboys, Gallup achieved notable performances, including a standout 2019 season with 66 receptions for 1,107 yards and six touchdowns. However, injuries impacted his career; he suffered a calf injury in 2021, followed by an ACL tear later that season. Despite signing a five-year, $62.5 million contract in March 2022, his production declined, leading to his release in March 2024.

In April 2024, Gallup signed a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders but unexpectedly retired in July 2024 at age 28. Surprisingly, in March 2025, Gallup announced plans to return to the NFL. He visited the Seattle Seahawks, indicating his intent to resume his professional career.

As of March 18, 2025, Gallup remains a free agent, exploring opportunities to rejoin the NFL.
