The Michigan Panthers are a professional American football team based in Detroit, Michigan, competing in the United Football League (UFL) as part of the USFL Conference. They play their home games at Ford Field in Downtown Detroit.
In their 2025 season opener on March 30, the Panthers secured a 26-12 victory over the Memphis Showboats. Quarterback Bryce Perkins led the team, completing 84% of his passes. The defense was pivotal, with Kai Nacua clinching the win by intercepting a pass in the final minute and returning it 80 yards for a touchdown. Earlier, his brother, Samson Nacua, contributed with a 25-yard touchdown reception.
Looking ahead, the Panthers will host the Birmingham Stallions at Ford Field on April 4, with kickoff scheduled for 12:00 AM Eastern Time.
