Mike Shinoda, born on February 11, 1977, in Los Angeles, California, is a multifaceted artist known for his roles as a rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer. He co-founded the rock band Linkin Park in 1996, serving as the band’s co-lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, primary songwriter, and producer.

In 2004, he launched a hip-hop side project called Fort Minor. Beyond music, Shinoda is also recognized for his visual art, with some of his works featured in the Japanese American National Museum.

In 2018, Shinoda released his debut solo album, “Post Traumatic,” which addressed his emotions following the death of Linkin Park’s lead singer, Chester Bennington, in 2017. The album received positive reviews for its raw and personal content.

In September 2024, Linkin Park announced a new chapter with lead singer Emily Armstrong, formerly of Dead Sara. The band released their eighth album, “From Zero,” on November 15, 2024, and embarked on the From Zero World Tour, performing in cities like Los Angeles and New York.

On March 18, 2025, Linkin Park announced their upcoming single, “Up From The Bottom,” set for release on March 27, 2025. Shinoda expressed his excitement for fans to hear the track, highlighting the band’s ongoing evolution and creativity.
