​Michigan State University’s men’s basketball team secured a decisive 87-62 victory over Bryant University in their opening game of the NCAA Tournament. The Spartans dominated the boards, achieving a 54-29 rebounding advantage, including a 21-9 edge in offensive rebounds, leading to a 31-6 disparity in second-chance points.

Jase Richardson contributed 15 points, Tre Holloman added 14 points and four assists, while Jeremy Fears Jr. and Jaden Akins each scored 11 points.

Looking ahead, the Spartans are set to face the University of New Mexico in the Round of 32. The game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 8:40 PM ET at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Broadcast coverage will be available on TNT.
