Nate Thompson is a retired American professional ice hockey forward known for his 15-year career in the NHL. Born on October 5, 1984, in Anchorage, Alaska, he played for several teams, including the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning, Anaheim Ducks, Ottawa Senators, Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers, and Winnipeg Jets. Thompson was drafted by the Bruins in the sixth round (183rd overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He announced his retirement from professional hockey on July 19, 2023.
