Nick Bolton, born on March 10, 2000, in Frisco, Texas, is an American professional football linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Missouri and was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Since joining the Chiefs, Bolton has become a pivotal member of their defense. In his rookie year, he recorded 112 total tackles and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. He achieved a career-high 180 tackles in the 2022 season, ranking second in the NFL. Bolton also played a crucial role in Super Bowl LVII, returning a fumble for a touchdown in the Chiefs’ victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
On March 9, 2025, Bolton signed a three-year, $45 million contract extension with the Chiefs, with $30 million guaranteed, making him the fifth-highest paid off-ball linebacker in the NFL.
