On March 19, 2025, the Grand Ole Opry celebrated its 100th anniversary with “Opry 100: A Live Celebration,” a special broadcast on NBC hosted by Blake Shelton. The event featured performances from numerous country music legends and rising stars, including Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Post Malone, and Kelsea Ballerini.
The celebration took place at both the Grand Ole Opry House and Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. Artists paid tribute to country music pioneers by performing classic hits with personal significance. For example, Reba McEntire honored Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, while Kelsea Ballerini paid tribute to Barbara Mandrell.
