The Oregon State Beavers women’s basketball team has a storied history, marked by numerous achievements and recent successes. Under the leadership of head coach Scott Rueck, who has been at the helm since 2010, the team has reached new heights. In the 2015–16 season, they advanced to the Final Four, and in the 2017–18 season, they reached the Elite Eight. Their most recent Elite Eight appearance was in 2024.

In the 2024–25 season, the Beavers joined the West Coast Conference (WCC) as affiliate members. They clinched the WCC Tournament title on March 11, 2025, defeating Portland 59–46 in the championship game. This victory secured their automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

Throughout their history, the Beavers have produced standout players, including five Pac-12 Players of the Year and numerous All-Americans. Notably, Felicia Ragland’s jersey was retired in 2003 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the program.

Looking ahead, the Beavers are poised to make a significant impact in the NCAA tournament, building on their rich legacy and recent triumphs.
