Parvati Shallow is an American television personality best known for her multiple appearances on the reality competition series Survivor. Born on September 21, 1982, in Vero Beach, Florida, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with minors in French and Italian at the University of Georgia. Before her television career, Shallow was involved in boxing and co-founded “Knockouts for Girls,” a nonprofit organization providing boxing lessons and scholarships to underprivileged girls.

Shallow’s Survivor journey began with Survivor: Cook Islands in 2006, where she finished in sixth place. She returned for Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites in 2008, emerging as the winner and securing the $1 million prize. In 2010, she competed in Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, finishing as the runner-up. Her strategic gameplay and social prowess have made her one of the most notable contestants in the show’s history.

Beyond Survivor, Shallow has ventured into hosting and acting. She hosted the web series Survivor Live and appeared in the film Into the Blue 2: The Reef in 2009. In 2023, she participated in the reality series The Traitors.

In her personal life, Shallow married fellow Survivor alum John Fincher in 2017, and they have one child together. The couple divorced in 2021. She later dated comedian Mae Martin from 2023 to 2024.
