Pau Cubarsí Paredes (born January 22, 2007, in Bescanó, Girona, Catalonia) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team.

Standing 1.84 meters tall, he is recognized for his defensive prowess, distribution skills, and game intelligence, earning him a reputation as one of the world’s top young defenders.

Club Career:

Cubarsí began his youth career at Girona FC before joining FC Barcelona’s youth academy in 2018. He made his senior debut for Barcelona in the 2023–2024 season, appearing in 24 La Liga matches. In the 2024–2025 season, he continued to be a key player, contributing to Barcelona’s victory in the Supercopa de España.

International Career:

Cubarsí has represented Spain at various youth levels, including U15, U16, U17, U21, and U23, and made his senior debut in March 2024. He was part of the Spanish team that won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics. ​
