Paul Mescal is an Irish actor born on February 2, 1996, in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland. He studied acting at The Lir Academy in Dublin and began his career with performances in various Dublin theatres. Mescal gained international recognition for his leading role as Connell Waldron in the 2020 miniseries Normal People, earning a BAFTA TV Award and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.

He has since built a diverse filmography, including roles in The Lost Daughter (2021) and God’s Creatures (2022).
