Paul Rudd is an American actor, comedian, and producer, renowned for his versatile performances in both comedic and dramatic roles. Born on April 6, 1969, in Passaic, New Jersey, Rudd moved to Lenexa, Kansas, during his childhood. He pursued acting studies at the University of Kansas and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Rudd’s career began with television appearances, notably in the NBC drama “Sisters” (1992–1993). He gained prominence with his role in the 1995 film “Clueless” and continued to build his film career with performances in “Romeo + Juliet” (1996) and “The Object of My Affection” (1998). Since 2015, Rudd has portrayed Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in several films including “Ant-Man” (2015), “Captain America: Civil War” (2016), “Ant-Man and the Wasp” (2018), and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). He reprised this role in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” (2023).

Beyond acting, Rudd has engaged in various philanthropic activities. In March 2025, he attended the wedding of Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom in Mexico, alongside other notable guests such as Ben Stiller and Jimmy Kimmel. ​
