Richie Grant (American Football Safety):
Born on November 9, 1997, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Richie Grant is a professional American football safety. He played college football at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he earned first-team All-American Athletic Conference honors three times. The Atlanta Falcons selected him in the second round (40th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, Grant participated in all 17 games, primarily contributing on special teams. He started 32 games over the 2022 and 2023 seasons. In March 2025, Grant agreed to a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers.

Born on February 28, 1970, in Dublin, Ireland, Richie Grant is a former soccer player and current coach. As a defender, he played for teams including the Minnesota Thunder. Transitioning to coaching, Grant served as the head men’s soccer coach at California State University, Bakersfield, from 2014 to 2022, achieving a record of 102–83–16 and earning two Conference USA Coach of the Year honors. He previously held coaching positions at Lambuth University and the University of Memphis.
