Ronald Acuña Jr. is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder for the Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on December 18, 1997, in La Guaira, Venezuela, he debuted with the Braves on April 25, 2018, and was named the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year that season.
In 2023, Acuña delivered a historic performance, becoming the first MLB player to record a 40–70 season by hitting 41 home runs and stealing 73 bases. This remarkable achievement earned him the NL Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award.
