Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian professional tennis player currently ranked world No. 1 in women’s singles by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). Born on May 5, 1998, in Minsk, Belarus, she stands 1.82 meters (5 feet 11 inches) tall and plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand.

Sabalenka has achieved significant success in her career, including winning three Grand Slam singles titles: the 2023 and 2024 Australian Open and the 2024 US Open. She has also secured six WTA Tour-level singles titles and has been a former world No. 1 in women’s doubles.

In the 2025 Indian Wells tournament, Sabalenka avenged her Australian Open loss to Madison Keys by defeating her 6-0, 6-1 in the semifinals. She will face 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva in the final.
