Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer, songwriter, and actress known for her dynamic presence in both the music and film industries. Born on May 11, 1999, in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, she gained prominence through her role in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World (2014–2017). Transitioning to music, Carpenter released her debut single, “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying,” in 2014, followed by her debut album Eyes Wide Open in 2015.

In 2024, Carpenter released her sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. The album featured hit singles like “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste,” all of which achieved top positions on the Billboard Hot 100. “Espresso” won the MTV Video Music Award for Song of the Year, and Carpenter received six Grammy nominations, winning Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n’ Sweet and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso.”

Beyond music, Carpenter has an extensive acting portfolio, including roles in films like Adventures in Babysitting (2016), The Hate U Give (2018), The Short History of the Long Road (2019), Clouds (2020), and Emergency (2022). She also starred in Netflix’s Tall Girl (2019) and its sequel Tall Girl 2 (2022), and executive-produced Work It (2020). On Broadway, she portrayed Cady Heron in the musical Mean Girls in 2020.
