Scottie Barnes is an American professional basketball player who plays as a forward for the Toronto Raptors in the NBA. Born on August 1, 2001, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Barnes played college basketball for the Florida State Seminoles before being selected by the Raptors with the fourth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
In his rookie season (2021–2022), Barnes averaged 15.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, earning the NBA Rookie of the Year award. He also received All-Rookie First Team honors. Barnes was named an NBA All-Star in 2024, marking his first appearance in the prestigious game.
As of March 17, 2025, Barnes is in his fourth season with the Raptors.
