spurs vs pistons

The Detroit Pistons defeated the San Antonio Spurs 122-96 on March 25, 2025, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Marcus Sasser led the Pistons with a career-high 27 points off the bench in just 26 minutes. Tobias Harris contributed 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Despite the absence of All-Star Cade Cunningham, who missed his second consecutive game due to a left calf contusion, the Pistons maintained a high level of play. They shot 56.4% from the field, significantly outperforming the Spurs’ 36.3%. The Pistons established a commanding lead by halftime, leading 60-34.

For the Spurs, Devin Vassell led with 26 points and six rebounds. However, the team struggled offensively, shooting only 36.3% from the field. This loss snapped the Spurs’ three-game winning streak.

With this win, the Pistons improved their record to 41-32, officially clinching at least a .500 record for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
