The TCU Horned Frogs women’s basketball team has experienced a remarkable transformation under the leadership of second-year head coach Mark Campbell. After a challenging 2023–24 season, the team rebounded to achieve a 33–3 record in the 2024–25 season, securing both the Big 12 regular-season and tournament championships.

A pivotal factor in TCU’s resurgence has been the addition of senior guard Hailey Van Lith, who transferred from LSU. Van Lith’s impact has been profound; she earned Big 12 Player of the Year honors and has been instrumental in the team’s deep NCAA Tournament run.

In the NCAA Tournament, TCU defeated Fairleigh Dickinson 73-51 in the first round, marking their first tournament win in 19 years. They followed up with an 85-70 victory over Louisville, advancing to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history.

Looking ahead, TCU is set to face top-seeded South Carolina in the Sweet 16, with the game scheduled for March 28.
